Swachhta Pakhwara 2017
GMSSS SARANGPUR, U.T., CHANDIGARH
On dated 01.09.2017 Swachhta Shapath day and Swachhta Awareness day has been celebrated in the school campus . Around 650 students and 20 Teachers participated in the pledge ceremony . The Principal and teachers also addressed the gathering and make them aware about the said programme.

On dated 04-09-2017(Monday) “Cleanliness Maintenance Planning Day” and “Green School Drive Day” have been celebrated in the school. Near about 650 students have taken participated in Swachhta Pakhwada campaign. All the students have cleaned their respective classes and school labs. The photos have been attached herewith.

On dated 06.09.2017 (Wednesday) “Nail Cleanliness Day” has been held in school campus under the “Swachhta Pakhawada Abhiyaan”. All the students and concerned teachers have participated in these activities. The concerned teachers have also made the students aware about the importance of nail cleanliness and personal hygiene. On dated 07.09.2017 (Thursday) “Hand Wash Day” has been held in the school campus. Approximately 350 students have participated in this activity. The students have been made aware for the proper method of hand washing before eating.

On dated 10.09.17(Sunday) Community Awareness Day has been held in school campus under Swachhta Pakhwada campaign . Approximately 40 students have participated in this activity.The rally was derived in the nearby village area. The slogans were also spoken in the rally by the students. On dated 11.09.17 (Monday) Swachhta School Exhibition day has been held in school campus under Swachhta Pakhwada Campaign. Approximately 80 students have participated in this activity . On dated 12-09-17, (Tuesday) “Swachh Water Day” has been held in school campus under Swachhta Pakhwada Campaign. Approximately 50 students have participated in this activity. A lecture was delivered for the awareness about the water born diseases. The students were also sensitized for safe drinking water. The photos of concerned activity are attached herewith.

On dated 13-09-17, (Wednesday) “Water Harvesting Day” has been held in school campus under Swachhta Pakhwada Campaign. Approximately 200 students have participated in this activity. A lecture was delivered in morning assembly for the Water Harvesting Structure Plan. The complete information on water harvesting has been given to students.
