ANNUAL SPORTS DAY EVENT UNDER YOUTH AND ECO CLUB

The much-awaited Annual Sports Day of GMSSS SARANGPUR was held on 06-11-2025 at the school playground with great zeal, excitement, and frolicsome atmosphere. The entire school was beautifully decorated with flags, balloons, and colorful banners to celebrate the spirit of sports and fitness.
The event began at 08:15 AM with the arrival of the Chief Guest, [Name, Designation, and Institution/Organization], who was warmly welcomed by the Principal, staff, and students. The Chief Guest was given a guard of honour, followed by the lighting of the Sports Torch, symbolizing the eternal spirit of sportsmanship. The event officially commenced with the march past presented by the four houses—[House Names, e.g., Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow Houses]—marching smartly to the beat of the school band. The synchronization and discipline of the students were truly commendable.
EVENTS COVERED :The track and field events began soon after. Students from all grades participated enthusiastically in a variety of events, including the 100 Race, relay races, long jump, high jumpand VOLLEYBALL COMPETETION. The atmosphere was filled with cheers and encouragement from students, teachers, and parents as participants gave their best performances.
Along with the serious athletic events, fun-filled activities such as the sack race, lemon and spoon race, three-legged race, and tug of war added an element of enjoyment and laughter to the day. The relay races, especially, kept the audience at the edge of their seats with their thrilling finishes.
Throughout the event, the school ground resonated with cheers, applause, and school spirit. The discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship displayed by all students truly reflected the values upheld by GMSSS SARANGPUR.
